With my parents, they didn't really approve of everything I wanted to do, but once I showed some independence, they became more accepting. Moving out probably helped as well, but you know... one thing at a time.
i bought my car from my father. i buy my clothes and all that. i do pay 40$ a month for my phone, which is 10 dollars for an additional line and 30 for UNLTD data. but i meant theyd make me go on my own plan. i buy a lot of my own food and groceries. but i am a full time student. thats the caveat there. and im working ~35 hours a week while doing so.
